We are seeking a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced, accountability-driven clinical environment.
 
Job Description:
The Clinical Operations Supervisor provides daily operational oversight of clinical support teams, including Medical Assistants, Radiology Technologists, Injection Coordinators, and DME workflows.
This is not a strategic or executive-level role. It is a high-accountability, execution-focused leadership position responsible for:
  • Staff scheduling and coverage alignment
  • Workflow enforcement
  • Documentation integrity
  • Performance management
  • Operational KPI monitoring
This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and supports all clinic locations.
 
What You Will Own:
Operational Execution
  • Ensure consistent daily clinic flow and room utilization.
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in real time.
  • Enforce established workflows and protocol adherence among support staff.
  • Support rollout of new systems, tools, and workflow updates.
Staff Scheduling & Coverage
  • Build and maintain clinical support schedules.
  • Align staffing levels with provider templates and patient volume.
  • Manage PTO requests and coverage adjustments.
  • Monitor attendance patterns and recommend staffing improvements.
Performance Management
  • Conduct structured performance evaluations.
  • Deliver direct coaching and corrective action when necessary.
  • Oversee onboarding and workflow training for clinical support staff.
  • Maintain performance accountability standards.
Operational Quality & KPI Monitoring
  • Track documentation completion and workflow adherence.
  • Conduct periodic operational audits.
  • Report monthly operational performance metrics to leadership.
  • Support compliance efforts in coordination with leadership.
Inventory Oversight
  • Monitor supply levels and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate vendor communication related to clinical supplies.
  • Escalate financial or contract decisions to leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a multi-provider medical clinic.
  • Minimum 2-4 years supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing staff schedules.
  • Experience holding staff accountable to performance standards.
  • Strong EMR proficiency (Modernizing Medicine preferred).
  • High organizational capacity and ability to manage competing priorities.
