Melissa co-founded Active Edge Physical Therapy under the vision of empowering patients to take an active role in health and prevention of future injury. Her athletic background includes competing as a member of her college crew team and completing 15 marathons as a competitive distance runner. A graduate of Regis University in Denver, Melissa holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and competed her Stott Pilates training in 2010. She applies this training to her passion for treating hip and low back/sacral injuries, specializing in runners and pregnant women. Melissa has taken advanced training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute to become specialized in pelvic rehabilitation. She loves partnering with patients wishing to regain or expand their ability to live active, healthy lives.
