Deborah Jones is a highly experienced therapist with a passion for helping others, she strives to improve the quality of life for her patients through personalized treatment and compassionate care
She graduated from California University at Northridge and UCLA and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from AT Still University. She is a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatrics, certified in pelvic health, credentialed assistive technology professional, Academy of Geriatrics certified expert exercise for older adults and credentialed balance and falls specialist. Her extended education includes advanced vestibular and concussion rehabilitation education. She has been awarded the OPTA Mercedes-Weiss Service award for her dedicated research and development of assessment tools. She is also a Franklin Method teacher trainer.
She started her orthopedic and neurologic career at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Southern California. Over the years, she has worked in acute, home health, long-term care, and outpatient rehabilitation
She became interested in Physical therapy while competing in college level basketball, cross-country and track. She continued her athletic career to include Hawaiian outrigger canoe racing and 29 Hood-to coast races. She currently is involved in equestrian completion in extreme trail riding and working equestrian.
