ROC is excited to welcome Elliott Cole, MD/MPH, to its team of distinguished providers. Dr. Cole is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in sports medicine, focusing on injuries related to the knee and shoulder. His addition significantly enhances the sports medicine services available at ROC.

As a surgeon committed to patient-centered care, my goals align seamlessly with ROC’s dedication to delivering personalized, high-quality treatment. I look forward to utilizing my skills in sports medicine to positively impact the health and recovery of our patients,” said Dr. Cole.

Dr. Cole expressed his enthusiasm about joining the team: “ROC is a group known for the compassionate and exceptional care it provides. It is an extraordinary opportunity to join a such a dedicated team, and I am eager to bring my background in sports medicine to enhance our ability to serve our community.”

Dr. Cole completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where he was an athlete in Division I Men’s Basketball. He earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Memphis and a medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. His residency in orthopedic surgery was completed at Oregon Health & Science University, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where he provided medical coverage for collegiate and professional sports teams, including the Cal Golden Bears and San Francisco Giants.

Dr. Cole works closely with patients to educate them about their conditions and all available treatment options, ensuring tailored care strategies that help patients return to their preferred activities.
