The team at ROC is thrilled to announce that Dr. Ballard and the total joint replacement team recently completed 1,000 robotic knee replacements using the ROSA Robotic Knee System. This accomplishment celebrates the ROC team’s continuing dedication to providing life-changing knee replacements and helping patients continue to live healthy, active lives.
The ROSA Robotic Knee System allows ROC surgeons to complete total knee replacements with less pain than traditional knee replacement and increased implant longevity for patients. By using two-dimensional data, ROSA produces a highly accurate three-dimensional virtual image of the patient’s knee. The virtual image results allow ROC surgeons to personalize the placement of implants to the knee’s specifications, helping to achieve a more natural-feeling knee and a quicker return to a full range of motion.
“[ROSA] allows me, as a surgeon, to do things that are more predictable and more accurate,” says Dr. Ballard. “What we hope ROSA and other systems will do is make the outcome more predictable and give you a knee that functions more like your normal knee.”
As ROC continues to evolve and ROC surgeons utilize more advanced technology, you can trust that ROC will continue to commit to patient care and recovery every step of the way.
