Our Approach to Total Joint Replacement
Consultation
Your care at ROC starts with a focused, one-on-one visit with your surgeon. You’ll review symptoms, discuss treatment options, and get clear answers so you can feel confident about whether or not total joint replacement is right for you.
Pre-Surgery Education & Preparation
Before surgery, you’ll receive personalized guidance from your surgeon and care coordinator on what to expect. You’ll be supported every step of the way, helping to reduce stress and set the stage for a smooth recovery.
Surgery
On the day of your surgery, you will be welcomed into a calm and comforting space by people who know your name and will be with you throughout your day of surgery. Outpatient procedures mean most patients can be checked out the same day of surgery and sleep in their own homes.
Recovery
Recovery beings the same day as surgery, and mostly at home, thanks to outpatient procedures. Your clinical care team will make sure you have a clear plan as well as ongoing support throughout your recovery journey.
Total Knee Replacement
Are you a Candidate?
An in-depth exam will help our ROCs team determine if you are a candidate for total knee replacement. If you are experiencing the following symptoms, it may be beneficial to schedule a consultation with an orthopedic specialist:
- Knee pain and/or stiffness that limits your mobility
- Knee pain that persists even while at rest
- Symptoms that remain severe even with nonsurgical treatments like physical therapy and anti-inflammatory medications
Need Help Evaluating Total Knee Replacement Options?
These questions will help you talk about your knee pain with your orthopedic specialist. Together, you and your doctor can determine the best course of treatment and care.
