About Dr. Bradford Black
Dr. Black is a Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in the arthroscopic treatment of sports medicine injuries as well as total knee replacement surgery. He focuses on the diagnosis and surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries affecting active individuals and athletes of all levels, with a commitment to helping patients return to peak performance safely and efficiently.
Dr. Black is highly skilled in minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques, which allow for precise treatment of conditions such as rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, ACL and meniscal injuries, and other ligament and tendon pathologies. These techniques are designed to minimize tissue disruption, shorten recovery time, and support optimal long-term outcomes.
In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Black performs total knee replacements, offering advanced joint reconstruction options for patients with arthritis and degenerative joint disease. As a Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Black specializes in the arthroscopic treatment of sports medicine injuries as well as total knee replacement surgery. He is proud to serve patients at ROC in Tualatin and Oregon City, Oregon.
Dr. Black received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Afterward, he completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai Morningside, affiliated with Columbia University, in New York City. Subsequently, Dr. Black completed his sports medicine fellowship at Tahoe Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Lake Tahoe, California.
In addition to serving patients at ROC, Dr. Black currently serves as the team doctor for Wilsonville High School in Wilsonville, Oregon, and Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon.
