About Dr. Brian Puskas
Dr. Brian Puskas is a Board-Certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced, dual fellowship training in both Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and Sports Medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of complex shoulder and elbow conditions, including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, arthritis, and tendon injuries, as well as sports-related injuries across all levels of activity.
Dr. Puskas is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care, combining the latest surgical techniques with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. His dual fellowship background allows him to offer both minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures and advanced reconstructive surgeries tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes and professional collaboration, Dr. Puskas works closely with primary care physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers to support comprehensive, team-based care. He is passionate about helping patients return to their active lifestyles—whether that means elite-level athletics or everyday movement without pain.

Dr. Puskas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder & upper arm surgery.
Dr. Puskas completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and received his medical degree at Pennsylvania State University Hershey College of Medicine. Afterward, he completed both his internship and orthopedic residency programs at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Boston University, he also completed his Sports Medicine fellowship. Dr. Puskas completed an additional Shoulder and Elbow surgery fellowship at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Puskas’ favorite activities include running, cycling, hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
