Micah started with Active Edge in West Linn in 2011 following his graduation from the University of Findlay where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is now the Clinical Director of the Tualatin location which opened in 2019.
In 2020 he was named to Portland Monthly Magazine “Top Doctors in Physical Therapy”, an honor that is given to experts that are specifically chosen by a survey of their medical peers.
He specializes in treatment of the shoulder, knee & ankle, though also enjoys the challenges of treating chronic diagnoses which require optimization of full body kinetic chain mechanics & alignment.
He also enjoys sport-specific rehabilitation with high level athletes & has his certification through the Titleist Performance Institute to optimize golf performance. He utilizes this with both his patients & his students, as he is Head Coach of the Lake Oswego Girls high school golf team. Micah also specializes in baseball throwing mechanics & return to pitching for injured throwing athletes, as he has experience in collegiate baseball as a catcher & outfielder. Finally, he thrives working with runners to help them prepare for & recover from endurance racing. This includes runners participating in entry level 5K to competitive marathons.
